Oh my god, I haven’t updated my journal since February 2013. Wow, okay, anyway.
As I always say; I’ll hopefully be uploading more regular from now on. (Well, by regular, I mean hopefully more than 10 deviations over the entire year. But who knows?) I’ve really come quite far since January in my journey to improve my skills in realism- or at the very least, semi-realism. I’m very proud of myself for how much I’ve improved over the past year, especially when comparing this drawing from January 11 2013 to this drawing from December 15 2013, and seeing the amazing difference between the two, almost exactly a year apart! But, im not all the way there yet, and i know I can improve even more! And that shall be my new year resolution once again this year!

I’ve started off my new year by adding a new fandom right alongside Supernatural; Breaking Bad. I’ve already begun my next drawing, which is fanart of Jesse Pinkman (in which i shall practice bruises, because wow if they're not fun to draw), and I can already see improvements from my last realism attempt! I’m going to put all my concentration into the details that I left out previously, and really focus on creating a brilliant final product!

I guess you can keep your eyes out for some new art then!

A few weeks ago, I finished watching Supernatural, as many of you have probably realised due to all the sudden art!
After going so long with no inspiration or motivation to really draw or finish anything, I think this series is just what I needed to get myself back into it! I've stuck with just Hetalia for a few years now, and I think it sucked all the creativity out of me. It feels good to join another fandom, and gain all these new inspirations and ideas! Plus, being real actors, Its an even better reason to practice realism ;')

I'm being more regular with my uploads as well, which I'd consider good! I've even submitted things I wouldn't usually think were worth it. All those times I've promised art that never came, and finally -after four years- I'm getting better at this uploading-of-art thing~

I was also considering starting up commissions, so I could earn some extra money for spending on... silly things. Would anyone be interested if I did? Id probably be keeping them around the $5 to $10 mark if anyone was interested, depending on what you wanted :'D Let me know okay!

Well, I think thats all thats really happening in my boring life, so Adios!

I haven't updated my journal since April, whoa.

Lets see what I've been up to..
I've been doing a lot of sketching and doodling of drawings, but nothing as of yet in the way of awesome art i could upload here. I've always been a lazy uploader, but I'm sure ill eventually have something worthwhile to put up here :3 I say that every single time i make a journal haha. I started watching Supernatural the other day too, so you never know, maybe some fanart for that could come soon. Don't get your hopes up though :'P
But i do want to do another Gutters!Denmark picture like my last update, as soon as i get the time for it!
I've just ordered 'Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands' for DS, because ive recently finished the 'Harvest Moon DS' i already have. This can only mean one thing; probably wont be drawing for awhile until im finished with it. Im so excited for it to come in the mail, I've been looking at heaps of stuff from the game on tumblr and whatnot. Vaughn, Will, and Denny are already my favourite characters and i haven't even played it yet!

This weekend is also Supernova, and i will be cosplaying Denmark there! Im really looking forward to seeing all the people from the last conventions again and maybe meeting a few more Hetalia cosplayers like myself :')
Supanova is a great way to begin my holidays and my final week of Year 10! Although, I'm really disappointed that I'll still be home next year. I was sighing up for Student Exchange to Denmark, for a year, but the only reason I had to pull out way because I wouldn't be able to get my SACE/South Australian Certificate of Education. It's such a disappointment that I wont be able to go for year 11 or year 12 just because of one silly SA requirement holding me back. Either way, I'll hopefully be learning Danish during my 9 week holidays plus throughout next year, so after Graduation I can visit the country or go for UNI exchange as suggested by my mama :3

That's probably all the things I've got going on in my life at the moment, goodbye until next time dear watchers~

So I finished watching Avatar yesterday, i got into it really quickly. A season a day past school is a pretty good effort. But anyway, I loved it. Really really really loved it. I admit I cried a few times, It was a great series. So, I might draw some fanart! But there will probably be a wait on it as Ive said before... but it will come! It will probably be Zuko. I love him so much. I feel so bad that i never upload new things.
Although I'm welcoming Avatar as my new fandom, I'm not abandoning Hetalia. I still love it, and you will still eventually see the work I've said i'll do/finish!
At the moment, Ive bought four uniforms for my Hetalia cosplays, two each for Prussia and England. But im considering cosplaying Prince Zuko next! It will be great fun!

Hey! In June we get a week off for work experience... i got accepted to do mine in graphics design! I get to work on character designs for an iphone application, a bad guy and a good guy! Plus help with some vehicle designs.
They said I probably wouldn't be able to, but they would love to see some examples anyway. I sent a portfolio to them with recent art that I haven't uploaded here, and they came back to me and said they would love to have me on board for the work experience week. I'm excited for it.... Maybe I could get a part time job out of it?

Ah, I'm sorry I haven't uploaded much! Ahaa, well i could say that for the entire time I've been on here... but anyway.

I've been really busy with school work and other things, so i haven't had awfully alot of time to work on anything, but trust me i have some things on the go!
Once again, ive revised my style and improved on my weak areas. I'm working on a Hetalia piece which is in a semi-realistic style of Prussia and Russia, im quite impressed with my efforts so far! Theres not going to be a rush on it though, im going to work slow and add as much detail, perspective, and anatomical correctness to it as i possibly can! I think this picture is possibly the best work ive produced in my life, im very proud even if its only at the sketch stage!

But like i said, there will probably be a fair wait on it or on any other art really. Thats all, bye!
